The Wax Museum of the Portuguese Discoveries offers visitors a spectacular and exciting journey through time in an educational yet entertaining way. The history of the Discoveries is brought to life through a themed approach that begins with the Battle of Aljubarrota and features many other historic events, including the marriage of King John I and Philippa of Lancaster (the Treaty of Windsor), the conquest of Ceuta, the discovery of Brazil and the arrival of Vasco da Gama in India.
